St Peters and St Andrews Church Thurso

Sunday Club meets in the church hall on Sunday mornings during school terms from 10.00am – 11.45am. All children from age 3 to Primary 7 are welcome.

Sunday Club aims to teach children the Christian faith in a modern, relevant way using Bible stories, songs, games and crafts. All teaching material is Bible based.

The children meet in the church hall at 10.00am for singing and other noisy activities before joining the morning service for the first 15 minutes. Following that we will return to the church hall and are split into groups for the lesson and the worksheets, craft etc. Parents are welcome to stay for the morning service and collect their children afterwards or may collect their children from the hall at 11.45am. As always the children are very welcome to bring a friend! All children must complete a registration form.

Children are invited to bring a small donation for the “collection” each week, this is used to support various Christian charities chosen by the children.

The Church of Scotland operates a Child Protection Policy and every teacher is obliged to be registered and trained. Our Child Protection Co-ordinator is Angie House.

For young people in High School there is Top Up Club which runs 11.00am – 11.45pm.
